About Nancy

Born of humble beginnings, with a strong spiritual background, I try to strive everyday to remember what is truly important, become a stronger, more compassionate, more loving person, and grow spiritually through life's everyday trials, and hopefully somewhere along the way, touch others hearts and help inspire them to remember what radiant beings they are, and encourage them to let their light shine brightly to dispell the dark corners of the world and be an example to others of how one person can truly make a difference.

Over the years I have ventured into many different areas of the performing arts, from Musical Theatre in the San Francisco area, to Tuxedo Dance Bands, Country Club Wedding Bands, Bar Bands, Oktoberfest Groups, Renaissance Fair Troups, Jazz Bands, Marching Bands, Church Choirs, Show Choirs, Country music, Pop music, Rock music, Jazz and Gospel, you name it, I've probably done it.  But it wasn't until recently that I ventured back to my roots and realized that the heart and soul of my music is and has always been touching peoples hearts through melodies and lyrics that have meaning.

So I have turned my focus back to "inspirational music". My mom, who was a Unity minister, always said, "I alone do nothing".   I have held fast to that belief from early childhood.  I truly believe that when you open your heart and soul up to letting a higher power work through you, you can touch people's hearts, and heal their souls.  Then, and only then, are you creating more than just pretty notes, it is then when you get out of your own way, let go of your own limitations, and become an instrument of God, where all things are possible.

When someone prays for guidance or help, whether in sheer desperation, or just during a difficult time, (and I am here to tell you that most men, even those who proclaim not to be religious or spiritual, when pushed hard enough, long enough, or in desperate enough straights, will cry to God for help - because we all have an inner knowing of where we truly came from - even if we are choosing to "go it alone" this time around), but,  rarely does God appear personally before you and answer your prayers.  Rather, he works through everyday people like you and I, helping us to be in the right place at the right time, or say the right thing to the right person, or do the kind thing at the appropriate moment.  I encourage all of you to quiet your minds enough, and listen to the promptings, and follow your hearts, and even if only occasionally, or in limited circles, reach out to your fellow man, for it is there in that moment of outreach, when blessings outpour and the world becomes a better place, and you begin to show the greatness that is inside you, and become who you were always born to be.
